The Mother’s Day Extravaganza continues with Part III—a celebration of Mama C’s mama, otherwise known as Patricia; Patty Rock; and her favorite title, Nonni.

Miss Ella Capri did very well at this hip restaurant, saying “hi” to all who looked her way (even those who didn’t). She looked especially cute in her Hawaiian romper Oma brought back from one of the islands, so she was the hit of the restaurant (of course!).
After a wonderful brunch, we all headed over to the Sacramento Zoo. Since this was an impromptu trip, preventing Mama C from doing her usual planning and pre-packing, we didn’t arrive there until almost noon which meant there was a long line and it was quite hot. Regardless, we had a blast! Miss Ella was so excited to see (in person) the animals she reads about in her books that she quivered with excitement, often yelling as loud as she could, “OOOOOhhhh.”
Mother’s Day Part III was a nice ending to the 2012 Mother’s Day trilogy.
