Mother's Day Part I--Mama C

What a Fun Movie!

For Mother's Day, Mama C wanted a date night with her handsome hubby, Dada M. Thanks to the always dependable Aunt LuLu, Mother's Day for Mama C was her best yet!

Mitch took me out to see the Avengers in 3D, and then off to Zocalo for a very nice dinner where Mama C enjoyed a glass of wine, mango salmon, empanadas, carnitas, and their amazing cilantro-lime rice.

Next up was a stroll over to the best chocolatier this choco-holic has ever been to--Ginger Elizabeth. There, we enjoyed a sundae with freshly made lemon and chocolate ice cream. Now, you might think chocolate and lemon is a weird combination, but it worked. They know what they're doing there.
Although the ice cream was delicious, the truly outstanding ingredient was the chocolate sauce--an unbelievably smooth, not too rich concoction, which swathed our tongues in silky goodness. I'm salivating just thinking about it. If you haven't been to Ginger Elizabeth's, you need to stop what you are doing and treat yourself to some seriously indulgent, luxurious, and of course, delicious gourmet chocolate. Go. Right now. I'm serious.

Thank you, Mitchie for a wonderful Mother's Day!
