Aaron's Birthday Party

On Saturday, Ella attended her first birthday party for a child that goes to Yellow Class with her at Rainbow Daycare. The party was for Aaron (turning 3) and his brother (turning 5). Unfortunately for Aaron, he was sick on his big day and missed his own birthday party! A lot of other kids from Yellow Class (Ella's little friends) were there having a good time for Aaron in his absence. Here's the scoop:

What: B-day Party
Where: Bouncetown in Rancho Cordova
Who: Aaron and Arthur (Ella, mommy, daddy, and lots of other Rainbow families attended).
The dirt: Ella was soooo not into Bouncetown. She refused to go on the bounce activities and even got upset when Mama C went down the huge slide and jumped around in the bounce house. Daddy was a big party pooper too. He was hungry which meant he was just awful until he finally snuck away and got some Jack in the Box down the street. When he got back, he was a totally different person--sweet as pie.

The rest of the kiddos ran around having a blast. Ella played on a few non-bounce items and then enjoyed pizza, watermelon, and the cake (that's all she talked about, "I want cake!" and "Where is cake?" etc.). Mama C had a good time going down the slide, bouncing around, and helping unattended kids who were stuck in weird places. The whole bounce thing is a great idea for a kid's party. I think Ella just needs to be a little older and she'll really get into it.

I'll add some pictures soon.
