10 Questions for Ella

(This is a blatant copy of one of my favorite girlfriend's blog. Stephanie is super clever and brilliant; I steal lots of ideas from her, so thank you, Stephanie!)

Ella is just about 2.5 years old on questions day and she was in an extra silly mood. Here they are:

1. What is your favorite color?: I like pink.
2. What is your favorite toy?: I like red. (Guess she's not totally understanding these questions yet.) When asked later: Unintelligible made-up language that sounds like Caki Cookie (then she giggles).
3. What's your favorite TV show?: The Minnie Show.
 Mommy and Daddy's response: Uh, no. We assume she's referring to Micky Mouse ClubHouse which shows up last on her list when she requests TV time. Here's what we think is far more accurate:
       1. Sesame Street
       2. Tie between Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and Yo Gabba Gabba
       3. Doc McStuffins
       4. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
4. What is your favorite food?: Crackers.
5. What is your favorite animal?: Elmo.
6. What's your favorite song?: A poopy song.  (She was in the silliest of moods when I asked her these questions. It was a riot!)
7. Who's your best friend?: Caki Cookie (more giggles).
8. What's your favorite thing to drink?:  Caki Cookie (we're all laughing by now). Mitch suggests only asking her one or two questions a day. He might be on to something...
9. What's your favorite thing to do with mommy?: Playing with mommy.
10. What's your favorite thing to do with daddy? Cook with daddy.
 Mommy's follow up question: Have you EVER cooked with daddy? Ella laughs in response. She cooks with me quite a bit. Mitch grills and makes mac & cheese, so we're thinking she means going outside with daddy while he grills, or she's just being silly.

I'll ask again when she's 3 and see how things have changed.
