Valentine's Day 2013

Ella's Valentine's Day started off with a "Friendship Party" at Rainbow. The children were asked to come dressed up in their favorite costume and bring their favorite books to share. I asked Ella if she wanted to wear her Halloween costume (50's girl) or her Elmo birthday outfit. Guess which one she chose...Elmo of course! She looked super adorable (I sneaked a bow in her hair). I wish I would have thought to take her picture this morning, but mama was running late for work and didn't think of it. I took a couple when we arrived home form work/daycare though.

After school/work, we picked up our heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and then headed home for our little party.

First, we gave each other some V-Day presents.

Second, we dug into our heart shaped pie.
 




Third, we had our special V-Day treats: chocolates and macaroons from Ambrosia and Ginger Elizabeth.

After that, it was play time! Miss Ella was sugar/chocolate wasted! It was NOT fun trying to get her down to bed.
