The Binky Fairy Pays Ella a Visit

On January 5th, 2012 the Binky Fairy visited the Malekian household!!

After Ella's nap, we completed Ella's "Binky History" in her Binky Fairy book and told Ella that the Binky Fairy was coming today. Next, we placed Ella's binkies in a bag, put them on her rocker in her bedroom next to her Binky Fairy book, and went out for a walk. Ella thought she caught a glimpse of the Binky Fairy flying in the sky on her way to our house. 

 When we returned from our walk, there on Ella's rocker was the Binky Fairy book and an Elmo stuffed doll--exactly what Ella was hoping the Binky Fairy would bring her!

Since the Binky Fairy visit, Ella has been doing great without her beloved binkies. She's asked for them a few times, and we simply remind her that the Binky Fairy traded her binkies for an awesome Elmo doll and gave her binkies to newborn babies to help them sleep and comfort them when they're sad. It works like a charm!

Thank you, Binky Fairy, and thank you Ella for helping those newborn babies who needed binkies!
