The Malecutts had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We started off at the Thompson's house. My favorites were the gorgeous centerpiece and the sweet potato mash. Ella's fave was the whipped cream and pumpkin pie. Not sure what daddy's favorite was...he probably liked it all!
The next day we were off to the Honeycutt's. My favorite here was the amazing meatball sandwich my mom made me the day following Thanksgiving. WOW!!! Grandma's recipe for homemade sauce, a new meatball recipe, pepporcinis, pepper jack cheese, focaccia....it doesn't get better than that.
My next favorites were seeing Skyfall with the hubs and a long nap with Ella.
I think Ella's faves were the apple juice (she doesn't get that very often), the sugar cookies, and playing outside. She loved standing on top of the "island" and screaming. It was a blast!
Mitch loved all of the food and snoring away in the middle of the day in my parents' comfy bed.
