Fun with Nonni

Nonni was in town, so you know what that means...FUN for all!

On Saturday, August 18th, Mama C made wholesome smoothies for breakfast. Ella ate her's like soup. She loved it!
Hmmm...
Next stop was Kindermusic in midtown. Mama C purchased two classes with a Living Social coupon. It was so much fun for all three of us! We danced, sang, and played with a group of other children close to Ella's age. She was shy at first, but warmed up pretty quickly.

After all that dancing and singing, Ella was "hungee." Since Zocalo was close by, and it was lunch time, we thought we'd risk taking a child to a not so child-friendly restaurant. Fortunately, it wasn't busy there, and they have a great kid's menu (yes, they have kid's meals!!). Ella LOVED the food. So did the rest of us. (You'll notice there are no pictures from when our entrees were served as Mama C was too busy stuffing her face).

Ella's kid's meal included two taquitos stuffed with shredded beef, black beans, rice, and a sundae with a churro. Ella chowed down on the chips and bean dip, her meal (except the taquitos) and of course her "treat" which she immediately claimed as "Ella's" the moment she laid eyes on it.

Leaving Zocalo. They even gave Ella a balloon.
Saturday wasn't the only fun day. We had Nonni for 4 days, so there were 4 days of fun, fun, fun, fun!

Nonni being Nonni.

Can you believe Ella too this picture? She's a genius I tell you!
