| Leaving the House |
It was a beautiful Saturday morning in April, so mama C and daddy M decided to bring little E to Fairy Tale Town for the first time. Our goal was to get there when they opened; we planned to leave at 8:30 AM sharp (which means that we actually left at 8:50 AM), but still arrived early. Hardly anyone was there yet which was quite nice.

Upon arrival, we purchased Ella a Fairy Tale Town Key so she could put them in these special boxes that play music and tell the tale of the exhibit. Ella, who loves playing with keys, was not interested. Fortunately, these keys are good forever, so hopefully on the next trip, she'll feel differently.
As the day wore on, Ella met some chicks, sheep (which she immediately identified as "baa baa"), pigs, goats, a stray cat who hissed at all the other animals, ducks, and donkeys! She loves animals. So, M & C are thinking a trip to the zoo is next in line.

Miss Ella was too small for most of the slides there, but she enjoyed
the small playground, chasing after the ducks, the pirate ship, and of
course, snack time. She did not enjoy the castle, the key, and the
endless circles around Dad's Kitchen (the restaurant) looking for a
parking space, so she promptly feel asleep in the car (mom and dad opted
for take out instead).
It was a great day! Next stop, the Sacramento Zoo.
