Mama C had a house full of sickies last week, but everyone seems to be on the mend. Here's the rundown:
Ella's cold turned into walking pneumonia. Needless to say, we've been worried sick about her. The pediatrician put her on a strong antibiotic. She seems to be doing much better now as a result. She goes back to the doctor today for a check up, so please send lots of prayers her way. This poor kid needs a long break from illness. She just keeps catching stuff.
Dada M also had a virus of some sort that made him feel terrible. He missed work on Friday afternoon and didn't go back until Tuesday. He's doing much better now too.
Mama C stayed home with the sickies from Friday afternoon through Wednesday, returning to work on Thursday. Nonni came up Tuesday night and helped me and Ella tremendously. Oma brought over two different soups, and bread, and cookies. Big thanks to the grandmas!
Surprisingly, Mama C is well and hasn't caught anything yet. We would have had a real disaster on our hands of mommy was sick too. Thanks be to God on that one, because I'm usually alwasy the one who is sick.
We're looking forward to Ella getting a healthy diagnosis and enjoying some family fun in Santa Cruz in late August.
Hope all our friends and family are well!
