Good morning! Here's a little run down of recent happenings with the Malecutt Family (Mitch and I like to combine our last names when we refer to our little we-be-3 family):
1. Ella came down with hand-foot-mouth disease or virus or something like that. I'm not sure why they call it that considering she had these chicken pox looking sores everywhere, especially her knees and arms. Poor little Ella was out of daycare for a week. Fortunately, the Malecutts have a great support system so Mama C only missed one day of work. (Oma and Papa offered to come that day too, but Mama C couldn't leave her little Ella with a fever and sores all over her body on the worst day of her illness, right?).
2. The Malecutts are leaving North Natomas and going to Elk Grove. We're not looking forward to packing, unpacking, and all that jazz, but we are super excited to be near the Hendricks family! Love them! And to have some grass in the back yard for Ella to play on.
3. Mama C attended her first Rainbow Daycare Board Meeting. In good old C fashion, she caused a bit of a ruckus when refusing to let a substitute teacher work in the Infant Room as there had been some mysterious issues with this person at the daycare in the past. Rainbow needs some quick help, but Mama C's gotta watch out for all the little ones! Don't know if the Board will listen to my emphatic "NO!" but if they don't, Mama C is really going to stir up some trouble. :)
Currently, we're preparing for our move, so we will be unavailable for any fun until we're packed, moved, and settled. Bummer!
